| Alvand Tile & Ceramic Ind. Founded in 1984 is the major
tile producer in Iran with the highest quality amongst the producers in
the region. The production capacity covers 3.5 million SQM of double fired
white body wall tile (group BIII-EN 159) plus 1.8 million SQM of white body
floor tile (group BIIa-EN 177). Outstanding quality of the products and
the service offered to the customers are the main keys to success for Alvand
Tile. The ISO 9002 certificate is another proof to the stability and reliability
on Alvand tile and guarantees the continuous improvement and innovation
of the company.
Founded in 1984 Alvand Tile Ind. set out to produce 3 million sqm of
wall tiles in sizes 15x15 and 15x20 cm.
And now after 3 expansion projects the production capacity has reached
5/300/000 sqm of both wall and floor tiles as well.
The factory is housed on an area of 10 acres.
The production plant in 1991 occupied an area of 27/000 sqm with another
8/000 sqm of peripheral buildings to make up the whole factory premises.
At present and having undergone expansion projects, the production floor
covers an area of 37/000 sqm.
Till 1994, wall tiles trundled along through tunnel kilns to come out
in sizes 15x15, 15x20, 20x25 And 20x30 cm.
Since then, the tiles have started to roll on through roller kilns to
arrive in even larger sizes such as 25x33.3, and 33.3x45 cm at the other
end.
In the year 2000, we can say we are proud to produce floor tiles in 4
different sizes undertaking the best and most advanced and up-dated Machinery.
All our machinery bears the hallmark of the most reputable Italian and
German manufacturers who utilize the most advanced technology in their
work.
The company’s laboratory which enjoys various kilns, excellent equipments
for testing and experimenting, and remarkable quality control is considered
one of the best equipped ceramic laboratories nation wide and serves to
back up the production as well as R&D departments .
The R&D department drawing upon the collaboration of constant contacts
with the best and the biggest producers of raw materials, glaze, pigment
and stain in Italy, Spain, and Germany. It has invariably kept abreast
of the most recent scientific and technological advantages in the production
of new products.
Alvand Tile Ind. by constantly and continuously taking part in exhibitions
such as CERSAIE in Italy and CEVISAMA in Spain has earned itself the unique
status of the sole Iranian participant in such events and endeavors to
support its representatives and customers in the four corners of the world
and tries to bring its capabilities into sharp focus together with the
other world’s giant producers of tiles and ceramics by putting its various
products on display.
Exports to more than 46 countries in 5 continents make up about 30% of
Alvand’s production.
Europe and Canada alone allocate 65 percent of this share to their markets
given the highly acceptable quality of the product as well as efficient
service lines and reasonable prices.
